So I've only been in Paris for half a day and have already sniffed out a fabulous fabric store tucked down one of the back streets. It's called La Mercerie Fine and sells a great selection of modern cottons.
The fabrics are arranged according to colour.
There were so many I could have purchased!
I ended up choosing two fun fabrics, an owl fabric and a watermelon fabric. It's difficult to see in this photo but the watermelons are gold!
I also couldn't resist buying a pack of three co-ordinating notebooks. One always needs a notebook!
